This Daily UI task focused on creating a home monitoring dashboard.
I decided to focus on a design which provides users with key information and functionality which is easily accessible. Examples can be seen in the energy usage graph, which analyses power use and expenditure over a period of time. Users are also given the option to lock and unlock doors, turn lights off and on and adjust central heating.
I feel this project was successful in producing an interface which feels elegant and clear in its use of design elements (such as colour and typography) to establish hierarchy.
